Sunny Sunday

It was a sunny day but chilly. Our mornings have been in the low twenties and we are only warming up to the low 40's...where is spring?

It didn't seem to bother some of the residents. I captured them soaking up the sun or just looking awfully cute!

This is my boy Zeus. Long time readers (from J-Land days) may remember him, he was one of my first entries.

His expression is just adorable.

BeBe didn't miss the chance to soak up the sun, she naps every day regardless if she is in her stall or outdoors.

Her Mama is going to be THIRTY in May ~ she looks pretty good for her age.

My sweet little Hope taking a roll on the warm driveway. Hope is blind and is Zeus' sister. She's only outdoors when I am home & can supervise her. I don't want her to run off or become disoriented. She is amazing though and does a great job navigating.

Blind or not she's still a diva.

  1. I love Zeus's expression, too. So cute! That is amazing that his sister gets along so well although she's blind. Cats are so versatile! Mama is looking terrific for almost 30! They all look like they're enjoying the sun :)

  2. Love the header. John no longer has his one part Watusi. The pictures are so pretty too.

  3. We have pretty much the same temps here in upstate NY. I'm hoping Mother Nature ends the boycott and let's April warm up. Looks like the menagerie are loving the sun.

I just found out this weekend Pickles has the beginnings of cataracts in both eyes. I'm hoping the progression is slow. Sweet miss has been through a lot. Lived through Katrina her first year. If luck holds out she'll be retired before she needs surgery on her eyes. (Hugs)Indigo

We've seen lot's of snow, especially in northern California. I have my address book with me, so you may get a postcard~Linda from Washington but away from there until the end of Aprl. 12. We have rain over here today Lisa, although we had a few days of beautiful sunshine in which I was able to sunbathe. It was just lovely. Now this rain has brought out all the daffodils and cherry blossoms. Spring is certainly making colourful footsteps at long last!
I hope you and your furry friends get the benefits of sunshine and warmth soon.

    Lovely photos of them.
    Hugs

  14. Lisa,
This makes me think of a book I read by Jeffrey Masson- Altruistic Armadillos, Zenlike Zebras.
